Marvin Samson - CEO and Founder, Samson Medical Technologies
Mr. Samson, founder and CEO of Samson Medical Technologies and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of the Sciences, was formerly a Group Vice President - Worldwide Injectables of Teva, previously having served as CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Sicor (acquired in 2004 by Teva for $3.4 billion). He was also the CEO of Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. He is an expert in injectable manufacturing and delivery systems and was a founder and CEO of Elkins-Sinn (today, West-Ward Pharmaceuticals, one of the largest generic injectables companies in the U.S.) and Marsam Pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Scott Young - VP Venture & External Collaboration R&D
Dr. Scott Young brings over 25 years of expertise in medical device design and materials development.At West, leading Venture and external collaboration, analytical engineering, and physical sciences within R&D. His work spans innovative injectable compound delivery, biopharma formulations, and technology evaluation. Dr. Young serves on the boards of Pneuma Systems, NanoPass Technologies, and advises AcousticaBio.
He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, and an M.B.A. from the University of Delaware. A prolific author and speaker, Dr. Young has contributed to over 25 publications. -
Yaron Ashkenazi - Founder and Managing Partner, Awz Ventures
30 years of senior management experience in the high-tech & fundraising sectors, with extensive understanding of the HLS arena. In 2016, launched Awz Ventures Inc. Proven track record of investing, scaling, and exiting from startup technology companies. Served for a decade in the Israeli Security Agency (ISA) VIP Protection Division, leading teams that protected several Israeli prime ministers. LL.B. in England; Registered lawyer in Israel.

Osher Shapira - General Partner, Awz Ventures III, Awz Resilience Tech. Fund
Responsible for oversight of Ventures III & Resilience Fund portfolio companies in Israel; Previously created a new division within the Israeli MOD (MAFAT) focused on strategic cooperation with venture capital funds, civilian accelerators, global corporations, bilateral efforts and international institutions to support and foster dual-use R&D activities across the entire Israeli defense establishment.

Dr. Shuki Yeshurun - NanoPass Technologies Founder
Dr. Yeshurun brings two decades of MEMS and advanced materials R&D expertise to NanoPass. His work integrates both commercial and academic experience. Dr. Yeshurun has an established history in bringing multi-million dollar technology-intensive projects from a concept to the market. Dr. Yeshurun earned his B.Sc. in Mechanical engineering at the Beer Sheva University, and his M.Sc. and PhD in Advanced Materials at the Technion Institute of Technology. A prolific scholar, Dr. Yeshurun has authored over 40 professional publications and 50 classified reports. He is a lecturer at the Technion Institute. A Senior Scientist at NATIONAL LAB, Dr. Yeshurun was a group leader in charge of developing piezoelectric materials for MEMS applications. Dr. Yeshurun holds over a dozen patents and was awarded the American Ceramic Society “Rose” Award for his work. He serves as member of the Board of Directors.
