March 16th 2009
NanoPass has completed a double-blinded proof of concept trial demonstrating effective, safe, and painless local anesthesia with the MicronJet.
January 1st 2009
NanoPass has completed a pilot clinical trial demonstrating the safety and efficacy of intradermal insulin injection in type 2 diabetics. Although not powered for superiority, shorter Tmax and higher Cmax were demonstrated with intradermal injection of insulin as compared to subcutaneous injection. While requiring further clinical data, faster absorption of insulin may shorten the lag timeassociated with insulin injection and improve therapy and compliance.
November 1st 2008
NanoPass has completed a clinical trial demonstrating that intradermal influenza vaccination with the MicronJet enables 80% dose reduction with equivalent immunogenicity as compared to standard intramascular vaccination. This 180 patient study, conducted in collaboration with the University of Anwerp's Vaccine & Infectious Disease Institute, has been recently published at Vaccine.
